M3 - How to: Search Inventory Availability- Countertop


Process Flow: How to check M3 Product Availability 

1. Prior to providing Resolution: Always check M3 (MMS081) for product availability

2. Prior to Processing M3 Order: Always Re-check M3 (MMS081) for product availability

3. Only reference "Avail Inv" column: Column must reflect a "Positive quantity" . If column is "Blank" or a "Negative" quantity -> Product is OOS or "Unavailable" for CR order processing


Understanding the M3 inventory columns

- Countertop only ships from PKY (Paris KY)


Total product quantity in  warehouse location
Inventory is Reserved for Retail Team Pending Orders"

-Inventory is "Not Available" for CR Order Processing 
Total inventory qty available for CR order processing.

**CR Only references this column for Order Processing

- Qty must reflect a "Positive Qty" to process order
Total Inventory qty allocated for orders pending shipping
Please do not reference - information may be incorrect
Countertop Does not references these columns for product availability.
Isolated Cases
-West Bend Major Appliance Category

- Reach out to Level 3 for approval


Product is "Not Available" for order processing if:

-inventory reflects a "Negative Qty"

- Quantity is "Blank

How To Steps:

Step 1. Log into M3 

A) Left side tool bar: Click "Favorites" & drop down list will appear

- Select : MMS081 Availability. Display All Warehouses 





 Step 2:  Top right - "Filter Options" location

     A) Sorting order : Select ->1-Whs,oh,ord,res 

     - Choosing a different sorting option will not reflect true Countertop product availability

     B) Item Number :  Enter full M3 Part code (Example: PSCRN83456) / Full Model Number (Example: MM900HDS)

     C) Whs:  : Enter PKY (Paris KY)

   

 ** M3 now reflects Product Availability 

 


   


Do not know the Product Code -Use Search engine below. 

How To Steps to: Search by product name (description)

 - Search is broad & does not reflect real time inventory availability. Inly to be used to locate Part Code "or" Full Model Number (SKU)

- After locating , you will then need to search MMS081 for product availability 


Step 1. Log into M3 

A) Click "Favorites"

- Click "Mashup Library" -> Drop will reflect

- Select : item_Overview_DIS



Screen Populates

- Click "Search for item" field

- "Search box" populates: There are 2 ways to locate the product with this view

  A) Part Search: Enter the name of the part (Example: Auger)  & hit "Enter" .  Scroll until you locate the part   



    B) Part Search: Enter only a partial Model SKU (Unit) number , that the spare part is associated with (Example: VSJ843) & hit "Enter" , the part list will populate
- Example: VSJ843 is a partial model (SKU) Number -> Full Model Number is: VSJ843QS, VSJ843RS, OR VSJ843QR
- Please note: This search does not always pull "All" parts associated with the Model (Unit) Number 

- If you click the "Product Group" column 2 times it will show all (Example: Omega) together.
