SELON MODELS: UNIT RUNNING TOO COLD

•COMMON ERROR CODES AND THEIR RESOLUTION:

“LL” error code – UNIT RUNS TOO COLD, LED PANEL READS ACCURATE TEMPS, RUNS CONTINOUSLY AND NEVER CYCLES OFF.
RESOLUTION: REPLACE THE MAIN CONTROL BOARD.

“8/88” error code – UNIT’S LED PANEL BLINKS “8/88”, MAKES A RAPID CLICKING SOUND, UNIT NOT COOLING
RESOLUTION: REPLACE THE MAIN CONTROL BOARD

“ER/EA” ERROR CODE – UNIT’S LED PANEL READS “ER or EA” CODE, UNIT DOES NOT COOL, TEMPERATURE SENSOR FAILURE.
RESOLUTION: TEMPERATURE SENSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

****Should led display panel show a high, false reading in the 80-90*f range when inside of unit is freezing:
RESOLUTION: TEMPERATURE SENSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

QUESTIONS TO ASK TO HELP DETERMINE IF ISSUE IS A BAD TEMP SENSOR OR BAD MAIN PCB

Can you please tell us if the unit's led display panel is reading/displaying the correct temperature?

If there any issues with the temperature sensor that would be indicated by any EA/ER codes followed with some beeping as well, have you any of those indicators?
Have you had any internal thermometers placed on the interior to monitor the temperature?

Should the led panel read a higher false reading (high 70s/80s) yet the unit sounds as though it runs nonstop, likely that is a bad sensor.

If the unit's led panel does read an accurate temperature, and it is very cold while unit sounds as though it runs nonstop, likely it is a control board (PCB) issue.

CANDOR MODELS:

Sincerest apologies to hear of the issue.
Please check to see if the internal fans are running, see attached photo to verify fan location.

What do you have the unit set to for the top and bottom zones?
Can you please tell us if the unit's led display panel is reading/displaying the correct temperature?

If the top fans do not run at all, then that can likely be the issue.
Should a fan fail, air will not circulate across the coil and the coil can freeze and thus the cold, heavier air can gravitate towards the bottom.

If there any issues with the temperature sensor that would be indicated by any EH/EL codes followed with some beeping as well, have you any of those indicators?
Have you had any internal thermometers placed on the interior to monitor the temperature?
Should the led panel read a higher false reading (high 70s/80s) yet the unit sounds as though it runs nonstop, likely that is a bad sensor.

If the unit's led panel does read an accurate temperature, and it is very cold while unit sounds as though it runs nonstop, likely it is a control board issue.
