7 PRONG VS 8 PRONG COOKTOP COIL SWITCHES - FACTORY DESIGN CHANGE

FOR AVANTI ELECTRIC RANGES:

COOKTOP COIL SWITCHES HAVE BEEN REDESIGNED FROM 7 PIN TO 8 PIN CONFIGURATION.

We changed parts supplier from EGO to DIAMOND from April 2021.
It was 2 years ago.

Please see attached and share with your technician.
This switch can be replaced by each other. Just pay attention to the wire connection. The #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6 of EGO brand will be in different position in the DIAMOND brand. For example, the #4 is in the top of EGO brand, while it is in the left top of DIAMOND brand. 

Please just ignore about the P1, P2 marked in the products. These are the marks from different factory, so they didn’t represent the same meaning. What you need to follow is the numbers #1-#6 marked by our engineer.
